Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman International Airport (IATA code: BPN, ICAO code: WALL), formerly Sepinggan Airport, is an international airport serving East Kalimantan area on the island of Kalimantan, Indonesia, about 1.113km from downtown.
The airport is the 6th busiest airport in Indonesia and the busiest airport in Kalimantan and second in Borneo after Kota Kinbalu International Airport. It was named the second best in service in the world for airports with annual handling capacity of 5 million to 15 million passengers in 2018 and Best Airport By Size In Asia Pasific, Best Environment & Ambience By Size, Best Customer Service and Best Infrastructure & Facilitation in 2019 awarded by Airport Council International (ACI) .
The airport has four terminals: Terminal 1 (T1), Terminal 0 (T0), Terminal 2 (T2) and Terminal 3 (T3). It runs domestic flights routes as well as international ones, with the earliest at 08:10 (AG785 for Yogyakarta) and the latest at 19:40 (GA575 for Jakarta).
