Antonio Enes Port (port code: MZANE / MZAEN), also known as Angoche Port, is a small port in Nampula Province in north-eastern Mozambique. It is considered a tertiary port and has a relatively long history as a small trading port.
The port is isolated, and is linked to other major cities such as Nampula and Nacala by a network of unpaved roads. Port facilities are at best rudimentary in the main port, whilst the fishing jetty upstream offers a private floating jetty load-out facility for bulk mineral sands products.
The port handles ilmenite, zircon and rutile (heavy mineral sands). The presence of several islands off Angoche provides a measure of protection for larger oceangoing vessels to load parcels of logs and bulk ilmenite at the outer anchorage on a lighterage basis. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 30 meters.
