Ashkelon Port (port code: ILAKL) is a medium-sized oil terminal in Israel. It is situated approximately 2 nautical miles south-southwest of the town of Ashkelon and 10 nautical miles south-southwest of Ashdod.
The port facilities consist of three multi buoy (CBM) berths for discharging white products, loading and discharging fuel oils and discharging LPG. There are two mono buoys (SBM) used for discharging and loading crude oil tankers, the oil originating from overland pipelines from Eilat and the Red Sea. In addition, there is a coal jetty for discharging coal vessels.
Approximately 60 tankers use the port annually. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 292 meters. The maximum draught is 15.6 meters. The maximum deadweight is 185,879t.
