Botwood Port (CABOT / CABWD) is a medium-sized public harbour administered by the Transport Canada. It is situated on the northwest side of Peter's Arm in the Bay of Exploits on the north coast of Newfoundland.
The port acts as a shipping point for pulp and paper products for the nearby Abitibi-Price Inc Mill and is also used as a distribution centre for petroleum products by Ultramar Canada. In recent years it has been used as a base for offshore exploration vessels. It has berths both for general use and for designated purposes.
The port handles the importation of fuel oils, caustic soda, sulphur and general cargo. Each year approximately 130 vessels visit this port. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 120 meters. The maximum draught is 7.3 meters. The maximum deadweight is 8,950t.
