Chiriqui Grande Port (Port Code: PACGE/PACHG) is a port located at Eastern Coast of Central America, in Panama at coordinates North 08° 56' 58.25" - West 082° 06' 49.35".The type of vessels regularly calling at it is mainly Crude Oil Tanker. Chiriqui Grande is an oil transshipment terminal on the Atlantic coast of Panama, on the southern shore of Laguna de Chiriqui. The terminal is operated by Petroterminal de Panama SA, also known as the Atlantic Terminal. It is connected by a pipeline to the Charco Azul (Pacific) oil terminal at The Port of Amulles on the Pacific coast. The crude unloaded at the Pacific terminal is pumped to the Chiriqui Grande terminal, where it is then transferred to refineries on the EAST and Gulf coasts of the United States. The general cargo terminal can handle bulk, liquid and palleted cargo and containers. The goods handled included bananas, steel, automobiles, timber and spools.
