Devonport port (port code: AUDEV / AUDPO) is a key entry point into Tasmania for tourists and locals alike. It is situated 0.8 nautical miles inside the entrance to the Mersey River with berths situated on the east and west banks.
The port is the most secure harbour on the north coast of Tasmania and has facilities for general cargo, livestock, refrigerated products, cement, tallow, grain, petroleum, LPG, salt, china clay, gypsum and fertiliser. There are also interstate passenger and vehicle ferry terminals.
