Gunsan port (port code: KRKUV), also known as Kunsan port, is a small port in South Korea. It is situated on south bank near the mouth of the Kum Kang River, central west coast of south Korea.
The port consists of private passenger, general, vehicle, tanker and bulk berths including two new container berths and a fishing port. The port area includes Janghang on the north bank of the river opposite Gunsan City and the New Port of Kun-Jang, extending seawards on reclaimed land from Gunsan Port area.
The port handles approximately 1,400,000t of cargo and 37,000TEU annually. The main export is rice. It serves around 1,938 vessels each year, among which about 64% are cargo vessels and 12% are tankers.
