Hantsport (port code: CAHAN) is a small harbour in Canada. It is situated on the west bank of the River Avon, 6.4 kilometers upstream from Minas Basin, at the head of the Bay of Fundy.
The port consists of 2 berths. One is public and utilised for the handling of wood pulp, while the other is private and used for handling gypsum. The port is officially closed from January 1 to March 1, but vessels can enter safely during that time, as ice breaks up with the tides. It is a tidal port, and berths are dry at low water.
The port handles approximately 90 vessels and 1,400,00t of gypsum annually.
