Heroya port (port code: NOHER / NOHRY) is a sub port of Grenland Harbour. It is centrally located at Herøya Industrial Park in Porsgrunn.
The port consists of the Crane quay, Tinfos quay and Deep-water quay. With a quay length of 230 meters and depth of 6.7 meters, the Crane quay is the Port of Grenland’s main terminal for shipping timber and has indoor storage capacity of 1750 square meters. The Tinfos quay is 150 meters long and 6.7 meters deep, and is used by Eramet Norway for intake of raw materials and production of manganese alloys. The two quays have a combined outdoor area of approximately 10,000 square meters. With a quay length of 175 meters and a depth of 9.7 meters, the Deep-water quay is the main terminal for receiving raw materials for the fertiliser manufacturer Yara Norway, which is responsible for day-to-day running of the facility. It has an outdoor area of approximately 20,000 square meters, used by Eramet Norway to store raw materials.
