Hoganas port (port code: SEHOG) is a medium-sized port in Sweden. It is situated in the Oresund, approximately 20 kilometers north of Helsingborg.
The port is privately owned by Hoganas AB, who handle their own dry cargoes. Two companies handling methanol and vinyl acetate monomer for their own production rent the chemical tanker berth (Berth 200). There is also a small shore tank farm for storage of the chemicals. Occasionally the harbour is closed as a result of ice.
The port handles approximately 120 vessels annually. The types of vessels regularly visiting this port are general cargo vessels, accounting for 30%; and SAR, taking up 10%. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 115 meters. The maximum draught is 6.4 meters. The maximum deadweight is 6,706t.
