The Port of Nagoya (Port Code: JPNGO), located in Ise Bay, is the largest and busiest trading port in Japan in terms of total cargo throughput, which reached 168.55 million tons in 2020, accounting for about 10% of the total trade value of Japan and handling all types of cargo (general, container, bulk, other). Notably, this port is the largest exporter of cars in Japan and where the Toyota Motor Corporation exports most of its cars. It has piers in Nagoya, Tōkai, Aichi, Chita, Aichi, Yatomi, Aichi, and Tobishima, Aichi.
The Port of Nagoya, located near the heart of Japan, is directly linked to major land transportation arteries including the Tomei and Meishin Expressways.
