Navegantes Port (port code: BRNVT), known as Portonave locally, is a privately owned sub port of Itajai Port, the third largest container port in Brazil. It is located on the north bank of Itajai-Acu River.
The port covers a total area of 400,000 square meters, divided into three mooring berths, in a 900-meter linear quay, with static storage capacity of 30,000 TEUs. The terminal infrastructures include 6 post panamax portainers (PT), 18 transtainers – rubber tyred gantry (RTG), 5 reach -stacker (RS), 4 empty loaders (EL), 40 terminal tractors (TT), 54 semitrailers, and 2 scanners HCVM-T.
