Nordenham (Port Code:DENOR) is a modern, multipurpose port privately owned but operated as a public port. It is situated at the mouth of the Weser River, 8km southof Bremerhaven.The port is entirely owned by Rhenus Midgard AG und Co KG and consists of two terminals, Nordenham and Blexen, run as a single operational unit. The following services are offered: Handling and storage of bulk cargoes such as ore, coal, coke, fertilisers and building materials. Handling, stevedoring and storage of general cargo, especially logs and sawn timber. Handling and storage of mineral oil products, liquid fertiliser and molasses. Also, all port services ranging from mooring, cargo handling and storage to forwarding and logistics. Max size: Max vessel length at Nordenham and Blexen, 270m. Max draughts 13.4m and 12.5m (FW) at Nordenham and Blexen respectively. Largest vessel handled: "Castillo de Lopera", 150,000DWT, bulker, draught 13.0m.
