Port Everglades, one of South Florida's foremost economic engines, is located in Broward County and it is the gateway for both international trade and cruise vacations. Its service facilities include ship repair, tugboat, fuel tank, dry dock, fresh water, steam boat, food supply, medical facilities and repatriation, without pollution discharge. The East-West width of the turning port pool is 365.76 meters, and the width of the North-South is 746.76 M. In 2019, Port Everglades was ranked the third busiest cruise in the world, accommodating more than 3.89 million passengers. The port was also one of the busiest container ports in Florida and ranked among the top 20 busiest in the United States, moving more than 1 million TEUs annually.
