Puerto Bolivar (Port Code: ECPBO) is a port situated on the northern coast of Colombia. The port is located on the western side of the entrance to Bahia Portete. Operated by Cerrejon Coal, the private port is used as an outlet for the Colombian coal industry, with trains delivering up to 48,000t of coal per day. In addition, the port handles breakbulk, containers and fuel oil in support of mine and port operations. Port is operational throughout 24 hours, daily except for 01 January. Approximately 28,000,000t of coal are handled annually.
