Rabigh port (port code: SARAB) is a small deep-water commercial port in Saudi Arabia. Situated on the east coast of the Red Sea, about 66 nautical miles north of Jeddah Islamic Seaport, it is protected by an offshore barrier reef running parallel to the coast.
Each year the port exports approximately 10,000,000t of petroleum products and 14,000,000t of sulphur and imports 10,000,000t of crude.
The port handles approximately 300 vessels annually. The type of vessels regularly calling at this port is tankers, accounting for 84.62%. With a maximum draught of 13.6 meters and a maximum deadweight of 156828t being allowed, the port can accommodate vessels up to 350m in terms of LOA and 325,000t in terms of maximum deadweight.
