Redcar Port (port code: GBRER / GBRED) is a deep-sea bulk terminal on the Yorkshire Coast in the Redcar and Cleveland unitary authority in the county of North Yorkshire, England. It is situated on the South Bank of the River Tees on the North East coast of the United Kingdom, approximately 8 miles northeast of Middlesbrough.
The port handles more than eight million tons of imports a year. It operates a 320-metre-long continuous quay which can accommodate vessels up to 17 metres draft and is fitted with 2 x Ship Unloaders which can operate on grab or hook for bulk or conventional cargoes respectively.
The port is originally a fishing port. Its location makes it an ideal gateway to the industrial heartland of the UK. It is a subport of Teesport.
