Port of San Carlos (port code: MXSCR) is a medium-sized port in Mexico. Located on the southwest coast of the Lower California Peninsula, 266 kilometers northwest from La Paz, the port is able to accommodate cruise ships and has a tanker berth for the electricity supplier.
The port handles cargo ranging from grain exports to fish and chemical imports (for use in the production of fertilizer). Each year it exports approximately 78,000t of wheat, 5,000t of fish and 10,000t of beans and imports approximately 5,700t of fertilizer and 11,000t of fish.
