The port of Souris (Port Code: CASRS) is a fishing and commercial port situated on the eastern side of Colville Bay, on the eastern coast of Prince Edward Island. It is also a ferry terminus. The port consists of Transport Canada (public) wharfage, used for the export of forest products, potatoes and fish and a small private wharf with a fish plant. The port remains ice free from April 15 to Dec 31 and is often used as a port of refuge. It is home to a vibrant commercial fishery and offers offload and safe berthage for transient fleets along with an ice house, water and power services. The port is host to Canadian Coast Guard Search and Rescue Station.
