South Asia Pakistan Container Terminal Port (port code: PKSAP), also known as SAPT and Hutchison Ports Pakistan, is the first deep-water container terminal in Pakistan and one of the largest deep sea container terminals in the region of South Asia & Middle East. It is situated at the estuary of the Keamari Groyne basin providing the most convenient access to ultra large container ships entering Karachi.
The port started to develop in 2015 and is completed in 2017. Its facilities include remote-controlled quay cranes, in and out gates with weighbridges, rubber-tired gantry cranes, reefer plugs, and scanning facilities.
