Varberg Port (Port Code: SEVAR/SEVAG) is a port situated on the southwestern coast of Sweden. There is a short entrance fairway of length 1nm outside the breakwaters, with easy access to the quays and depths of 4.5-11.0m. Facilities are provided for general/bulk cargoes, containers/Ro-Ro cargoes and liquid cargoes. There is a regular ferry service with western Swedish ports, Copenhagen and Lubeck. The Port is the leading export port of sawn timber in Scandinaivia. Forest products such as sawn timber, woodpulp, pulpwood, and sawlogs are the main products that are handled in the port today. The port also handling general cargo, containers, and project cargoes.
Approximately 1,600,000t of cargo are handled annually.
