Belfast International Airport (IATA code: BFS, ICAO code: EGAA) is the busiest airport in Northern Ireland and the 10th-busiest airport in the UK by passenger traffic in 2020. It is located 11.5 NM (21.3 km; 13.2 mi) northwest of Belfast in Northern Ireland. Formerly known as Aldergrove Airport, after the nearby village of Aldergrove. The majority of flights from Belfast International are operated by easyJet, who are Northern Ireland's biggest airline. It features flights to some European metropolitan and several leisure destinations as well as a seasonal route to Orlando in the United States operated by Virgin Atlantic.
Belfast International handled over 1.75 million passengers in 2020, which is the lowest since 1985. The airport's busiest year over operation was in 2019 when it handled over 6.27 million passengers.
