Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport (IATA code: BLQ, ICAO code: LIPE) is an international airport serving the city of Bologna in Italy. It is approximately 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) northwest of the city centre in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy.
There is one terminal in the airport, which underwent an expansion during 2011–2013. It now covers a total surface of 36,100 square meters, of which 5,500 square meters are shopping areas. A new baggage handling system was installed and there are now 24 departure gates.
