Florence Airport (IATA code: FLR, ICAO code: LIRQ), formally Amerigo Vespucci Airport, is the international airport of Florence, the capital of the Italian region of Tuscany. Located four kilometers from the center of Florence and occupying an area of approximately 115 hectares between Castello and the Plain of Sesto Fiorentino, it is the second-busiest Tuscan airport in terms of passengers after Pisa International Airport.
