Tweed-New Haven Airport (IATA code: HVN, ICAO code: KHVN) is a major regional airport serving Connecticut. The public airport is located three miles southeast of downtown New Haven, in New Haven County, Connecticut, United States, partly in the City of New Haven, which owns the airport, and partly in the town of East Haven.
Covering an area of 394 acres (159 ha), HVN is one of two airports with regularly scheduled commercial service in Connecticut, the other being Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks. It is included in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021, in which it is categorized as a non-hub primary commercial service facility.
In year 2019, HVN reached a peak in terms of its passenger traffic before the outbreak of Covid-19 Pandemic. That was 50,355 passengers.
