Kumamoto Airport (IATA: KMJ, ICAO: RJFT), also known as Aso Kumamoto Airport, is an airport in Mashiki, Kumamoto, Japan. It is located on the Takayuhara Plateau at the western end of the Aso Sotowayama Plateau, 20 kilometers east of the center of Kumamoto City, and straddles Mashiki Town, Kamimashiki District, Kikuyo Town, Kikuchi District, Ozu Town, Kikuchi District, and Nishihara Village, Aso District.
