Kenneth Kaunda International Airport (IATA code: LUN, ICAO code: FLKK), known as Lusaka International Airport before 2011, is the largest airport in Zambia and serves as a hub for its region. It is located in Chongwe District, off the Great East Road, approximately 26 kilometres (16 miles) northeast of the city centre of Lusaka, the capital and largest city of Zambia.
The airport has a capacity of handling two million passengers per year, but with the addition of the new passenger terminal built in 2021, the capacity has been increased to 6 million. In the year of 2018, the airport handled a total of 1,352,278 passengers.
