Aden Adde International Airport (IATA: MGQ, ICAO: HCMM), formerly known as Mogadishu International Airport, is an international airport serving Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia. As the largest airport in this country, it is named after Aden Abdullah Osman Daar, the first President of Somalia.Following years of conflict the airport has been rehabilitated since 2010 with a number of new facilities, including a new immigration centre, opened with the assistance of international donors. The airport is a hub for Somali carriers Jubba Airways and Suhura Airways. A number of international carriers have resumed service to Mogadishu, including Turkish Airlines.
