Matsapha Airport (IATA: MTS, ICAO: FDMS) is an airport located near Manzini, a city in Manzini District of Eswatini. It serves Royal movements, flights of the Eswatini Government and mercy flights.
The airport is at an elevation of 2,075 feet (632 m) above mean sea level. Founded in the 1960s, the airport buildings and runway were upgraded in the late 1970s. The new terminal buildings host a little snack shop, airline counters and the offices of Imperial and Avis car rental. The runway can accommodate an Airbus A320. But it has to be towed to the parking area, because the taxiways are too narrow. Before, it used to be the only international airport in Swaziland. Since 2014,ih has been replace by King Mswati III International Airport.
