Mykolaiv International Airport (IATA code: NLV, ICAO code: UKON), also known as Nikolaev Airport, is a public airport serving Mykolaiv in the Mykolaiv Oblast of Ukraine. Located 13 kilometers away from the town, it covers an area of 320 hectares and is one of the largest and most technically equipped airports in the South of Ukraine.
The two-floor air terminal complex of this airport before 2013 had a throughput capacity up to 400 passengers per hour on internal airline flights and up to 100 passengers per hour on international flights. Since late 2014, the throughput capacity is 300 persons per hour.
The airport handled very few passengers from 2012 to 2018. In 2019, the number of passengers handled by this airport swung back to 22,700.
