Zaporizhzhia International Airport (IATA code: OZH, ICAO code: UKDE) is the international airport that serves Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, and is one of the three airfields around the city. It is the top-6 Ukrainian airports that serve up to 98% of the country’s passenger traffic.
In May 2020 the airport was extended with a new terminal with a capacity of 400 passengers per hour. With an area of 12,542 square meters, the new terminal is among the top five in Ukraine and can accommodate 1 million of passengers annually. Opening of the new terminal brought an increase of 30.1% of adopted aircraft (a total of 1936 units), as well as an increase in passenger traffic by 40.6% (to 79,845 passengers).
In 2019, the airport was ranked 6th on the list of the busiest airports in Ukraine with 434,063 passengers handled, representing an increase of 8.4% from the previous year.
