Tocumen International Airport (IATA: PTY, ICAO: MPTO) is the international airport of Panama City, the capital of Panama. The airport serves as the homebase for Copa Airlines and is a regional hub to and from The Caribbean, South, North and Central America and additionally features routes to some European and Asian cities.
About its ground transportation, the airport can be reached by motorcar, bus and taxi. An extension of Panama Metro line 2 serving the airport is planned to open in time for the 2022 Central American Games to be held in Panama.
