Federico Fellini International Airport ( IATA: RMI, ICAO: LIPR), formerly Rimini Miramare Airport, is the main aerial gateway to the nearby independent republic of San Marino. It is an international airport that offers both national and international connections. It is located at Miramare, 5.2 kilometres (3.2 mi) southeast of Rimini, Italy. The airport is named after Italian filmmaker Federico Fellini. Since 2015, Rimini Airport has been managed by AIRiminum 2014 S.p.A. The airport is at an elevation of 41 feet (12 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 13/31 with an asphalt surface measuring 2,996 by 45 metres (9,829 ft × 148 ft). 305,000 passed through Rimini airport in 2017, a rise of 26% compared to the previous year, after several years of falling numbers.
