Šiauliai International Airport (IATA code: SQQ, ICAO code: EYSA), also known as Zokniai Airport, is the only airport in the Eastern part of the European Union that does not apply sound restrictions during the day or night. It is located 7 kilometres (4.3 miles) southeast of the city of Šiauliai, in northern Lithuania.
Covering an area of 471 hectares (1,160 acres), the airport has a passenger terminal and a cargo terminal. It also has the longest runway in the Baltic region with the latest equipment that allows to receive and service even the largest aircraft in the world around the clock all year round, even in the most difficult meteorological conditions.
