Satu Mare Airport (IATA code: SUJ, ICAO code: LRSM) is a public international airport serving Satu Mare County, a county (județ) of Romania, on the border with Hungary and Ukraine. It is located in northwest Romania, 14 kilometers (8.7 miles) south of Satu Mare municipality, the capital of Satu Mare County.
Officially opened on 15 October 1936, the airport is one of the first airports in Romania. In 1996, the facility was designated as an international airport. In 2019, the airport handled a record-breaking 84,171 passengers, featuring an increase of 11.2% from the previous year, with 2,390 aircraft movements.
