Syracuse Hancock International Airport (IATA code: SYR, ICAO code: KSYR) is a joint civil-military airport five miles northeast of downtown Syracuse, in Onondaga County, New York, and 65 miles (100 km) south of Watertown. The airport is off Interstate 81, near Mattydale, New York. The main terminal complex is at the east end of Colonel Eileen Collins Boulevard. The airport's territory extends into the Towns of DeWitt, Cicero, and Salina, covering 2,000 acres (809 ha).
To go to the airport, travelers can take direct buses operating at SYR or take Centro, Syracuse’s bus system, to the William F. Walsh Regional Transportation Center located only a few miles from the airport and pick up one of the many taxis stationed there to complete their journey.
Syracuse has no scheduled international service other than diversions and Wheels Up charters. In 2019, it had served 2,583,193 passengers.
