Tabriz International Airport is also designed for military use. The runway of the airport is also used by Tactical Air Base 2 of the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force.
In the airport, flights are mainly operated from two terminals. Iran Air, Air Tour, Ata, Meraj, Mahan, Caspian, Aseman, Turkish, Fly Dubai flights and Zagros are operated from Terminal 4 while Hajj and Atbat flights from Hajjaj Terminal.
