Tulsa International Airport (IATA code: TUL, ICAO code: KTUL), known as Tulsa Municipal Airport before 1963, is a civil-military airport serving Tulsa County, Oklahoma, the United States. It is located five miles (8 kilometers) northeast of downtown Tulsa.
The airport covers 4,360 acres (1,764 hectares) among which 70,000 square feet are warehouse/office space. Its convenient location adjacent to three interstate highways, two major railways, and within ten minutes of the nation’s largest inland ice-free sea port makes it an ideal location for efficient cargo operations.
The airport has a smaller regional terminal with newly renovated concourses. Concourse A, which houses Allegiant, American and Delta, has 11 departure gates-A1 through A11. Currently, seven of those are in use. Concourse B, opened in 2012, has 10 gates. But only 7 have jet bridges.
In 2020, the airport handled a total of 1,332,433 passengers and 115,124,679 pounds of cargo with 69,322 aircraft operations.
