Vaasan lentoasema Vasa flygplata Airport (IATA code: VAA, ICAO code: EFVA) is a public airport located in Vaasa, Finland, about 9 kilometres (5.6 miles) south-east of Vaasa city centre.
The airport was opened in 1938 and had undergone several renovations afterwards. In 2005, 2008, and once again in 2017, it was chosen as the Airport of the Year in Finland. As of 2021, it is the 9th busiest airport in Finland with 19,231 passengers, among which 16,648 were domestic. It handled 179,360 tons of cargo at the same time.
