Arturo Michelena International Airport (IATA code: VLN, ICAO code: SVVA) is a hub for Turpial Airlines and a secondary hub for Avior Airlines. It is an airport serving Venezuela's third city of Valencia, after Caracas and Maracaibo. The airport is owned by state-owned Bolivariana de Aeropuertos (BAER) and operated by the Instituto Autónomo de Aeropuertos del Estado Carabobo (IAAEC). It is named after Venezuelan painter Arturo Michelena, who was born in Valencia.
