Vladivostok International Airport (IATA code: VVO, ICAO code: UHWW), formerly known as Knevichi Airport, is an international airport located near Artyom, Primorsky Krai, Russia, roughly an hour's drive (44 kilometres or 27 miles) north of the center of the city of Vladivostok.
The airport has two passenger terminals: the old Domestic Terminal B and the new International Terminal A. Terminal A was built in 2012 and has the capability of handling 3.5 million passengers per year. The Terminal B has been closed and converted to an exhibition center. It also has two airfields, namely Lake Springs Airfield and Knevichi Airfield. The Lake Springs airfield, which is approximately 2 miles south-west of the main terminal, was designed for aircraft operating on regional routes. The Knevichi Airfield was designed for all types of aircraft.
Having handled 3,079,344 passengers in 2019, VVO was ranked 12th on the list of Russia's busiest airports by passenger traffic.
