Gander International Airport (IATA code: YQX, ICAO code: CYQX) is an airport for both public and military use, located in Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Sometimes referred to as the "Crossroads of the World", the airport is classified as an international airport by Transport Canada.
Over 50% of all aircraft operating from the air field are military. Canadian Forces Base Gander shares the airfield but is a separate entity from the airport. Passenger traffic in the airport declined 4% in 2019, with the primary driver being capacity reductions from the grounding of the Boeing 737 MAX and a soft provincial economy.
