Aitape port (port code: PGAIT / PGATP) is a small river port in the Sandaun province of Papua New Guinea. It is located midway between Vanimo and Wewak and was established as a station by German colonists in 1905 as part of German New Guinea. Today, the Port of Aitape is a Satelite Agency Port and reports to the regional Port of Madang.
The port, which is not a port of entry, consists of a pier with berths on both sides of its outer end. It has 125 square meters of storage area under cover and 1000 square meters open storage area. The main exports from the port are copra, cocoa and vanilla.
