Albany port (port code: AUALH) is located on the northern shore of Princess Royal Harbour, a natural harbour that is part of King George Sound on the south coast of Western Australia, in the Great Southern region. Taking up a land area of 80 hectares (198 acres), a mixture of crown and freehold land that was managed by the Albany Authority and managed by the Southern Ports Authority since 2014, the port consists of 4 berths.
The port handles a variety of goods. The main imports are rock phosphate, petroleum products, sulphur, fertiliser, fish and the main exports are grain, silica sand and woodchip. Annually approximate 126 vessels and 3,501,000 tons of cargo are handled in the port.
