Ankara Port (port code: TRANK), formerly known as Angora Port, is a dry port in the central part of Anatolia, in northwestern Turkey. Situated near the confluence of the Hatip, İnce Su, and Çubek streams, about 125 miles (200 kilometers) south of the Black Sea, it forms a major junction of the road and railway network of Turkey.
The port has handled exports of mohair (from the Angora goat) and Angora wool (from the Angora rabbit). Substantial amounts of goat and cat skins, gum, wax, honey, berries, and madder root were also exported. In the month of August 2018, it handled around 94 shipments of imports valued at 651,600 US dollars. Major products imported included vaccines, toxins, medical instruments, veterinary equipment, and electro-medical apparatus.
