Appledore Port (Port Code: GBAPP) is a port situated at the mouth of the rivers of Torridge and Taw in North Devon. It is primarily used for leisure and fishing, Placed on the estuaries of two rivers which lead into the Bristol Channel, Appledore has a distinguished maritime history.
The one remaining shipyard, one of the largest undercover yards in Europe, is the main focus of modern Appledore. The port remains the home of a number of fisherman and the river a favourite of leisure craft. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 90 meters.
