Arzew Port (port code: DZAZW) is a medium-sized oil port in Algeria. It is situated 30 kilometers east of Oran on the west side of the Golfe d'Arzew.
The port has a water area of 17 hectares with a total quayage of 4,500 meters. Its South Jetty has been rebuilt providing an extra 25,000 square meters of wharf space. The port consists of Arzew Harbour and Arzew-El-Djedid, a dedicated LNG/LPG export terminal.
The port handles approximately 67 million tons of cargo and 3,000 vessels annually. The main exports from the port are crude oil and products, salt, fertiliser, LNG, LPG and ammonia. The types of vessels regularly calling at this port are tankers, accounting for about 59%; cargo vessels, taking up around 31%; and dredging vessels, taking a proportion of 9%.
The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 295 meters. The maximum draught is 14.5 meters. The maximum deadweight is 170,000t.
