Port of Bandar Anzali (port code: IRBAZ) is the largest port in the Caspian Sea. It is located in the land-locked Caspian Sea on the Northern coast of Iran, adjacent to Anzali, 380 kilometers northwest of Tehran and 40 kilometers from Rasht, the capital of Gilan Province.
The port of Bandar Anzali has facilities for handling break bulk, dry bulk, liquid, Ro-Ro and container cargoes. Annually this port handles approximately 4,000,000t of cargo and 1,274 vessels, among which about 81.5% are cargo vessels. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 141 meters. The maximum draught is 4.6 meters. The maximum deadweight is 7146t.
