Bangkok BMT Port (port code: THBMT), or Bangkok Modern Terminal, is a medium-sized port in Thailand. It is situated on the west banks of the Cho Phraya River in Bangkok, Thailand, about 12 kilometers from the river's mouth to the Gulf of Thailand.
The port consists of a berth. It provides loading and unloading services for bulk cargoes and containers and transports and stores those goods. Its container terminal can transport as many as 25 containers per hour and can accommodate vessels to 120 metric tons.
The port’s barge shuttle services provide containerized cargo feeder service to the Port of Laem Chabang. Sailing daily, this service expands customers' reach throughout Thailand. Each barge can handle as many as 44 20-foot containers. The types of vessels regularly calling at this port are cargo vessels, accounting for about 70%; container ships, taking up around 18%; and oil/chemical tankers, taking a proportion of 10%.
The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this terminal is approximately 167 meters. The maximum draught is 8.9 meters. The maximum deadweight is 18,855t.
