Barletta Port (port code: ITBLT) is a medium-sized commercial port in Italy. It is situated 53 kilometers northwest of Bari, on the Adriatic coast.
The port is a busy fishing harbour and a large industrial base with modern port facilities for handling mainly bulk carriers and tankers of medium size together with Ro-Ro vessels. It is sheltered from all winds by a breakwater.
The principal exports leaving this port include wine, edible oils, salt, acids and cement. The main imports entering this port are grain, coal, bulk chemicals, fertilizers and clay. The port handles approximately 330 vessels annually, among which around 45.5% are fishing vessels, and 36% are cargo vessels. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 141 meters. The maximum draught is 6.4 meters. The maximum deadweight is 13,479t.
